My wife went to school with Lucas and Scott, she showed me the band they had in school called falling with style and its crazy how far they've come since creating holding absence. Its safe to say they are easily one of my favourite bands.

Answering your question, those are albums by Loathe and Holding Absence. Speaking of Holding Absence, this is one of my favorite bands out there in one row with Invent Animate. I think that their 2019 album still remains one of the best albums i've ever heard because it has such a fucking special Ambient that is combined with Post-Hardcore and Shoegaze into piece of art. The whole album is emotional and heavy in sort of a different way and i can understand why people didn't like it, but the particular songs like: Wilt, Perish, Like a Shadow and few others - are literally perfect for a person like me that likes all genres that are combined in this album, separately. Wilt by Holding Absence might be the best song i've heard, sharing this place with Without a Whisper of Invent Animate. I'm not even speaking of their early era and masterpieces like Penance :) Ambient is healing me.
