As ever....excellent. Actually I was a Royal Naval reservist back in the day.

You will need to get a new flat to store your expanding collection! I enjoy you sharing your enthusiasm for the Hobby. New blood is essential to keep it alive because old timers get jaded and become somewhat apathetic. I have tried hard not to get like that. Once you lose your sense of wonder and joy your interests recede into the background. You can inspire others to join in the Hobby by being positive and excited. I think you are doing that now.

@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 Thanks you, yes. I've been into this hobby for a long time now. I have been collecting since I was 12 or 13. I just wish I had my old video camera, I think my dad has thrown it away. Do you know the plastic commander? Don't worry, I've been into this hobby for a long time now and I'm not loosing interest, not for a long time. Like I may have said before, people are always telling me that I waste my money. But other people buy cigarettes and abuse alcohol. I haven't had an alcoholic drink in nearly 2 weeks. I drink very little to be honest. My army men are my life!

@@ronaldmcdonald8303 It's your money not theirs. They spend money on stuff you think is dumb but it is their deal to do that not yours. Who are you hurting? No one! They are jealous of you because they lack interest and passion

@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 Yes, I've never understood smoking. Who on earth thought of growing a particular plant, fermenting it, setting it alight and breathing it in? Yet there are many millions of people who do! On the alcohol side, I do like a nice tipple now and then, but I'm no serious drinker. Sometimes I go down to Asda to get alcohol free beer anyway. It tastes great and you can drink as much as you want with no real side affects apart from having to pee now and then. I just managed to purchase those civil war soldiers and white ones on BMC toys after a few unsuccessful tries. As you said, it's my money. why should it bother them. I also have a collection of flags, in my next purchase I'm getting all the central American flags and Mexico too!!!! I sometimes go down to the cash exchange to buy different currencies too. I am saving up for a new PC to play my old army men games and games such as MAX 2. When I was 12 in 2001 I came home from school to discover my dad had been to my room to remove my computer and "Took it down to the dump!" I had that computer since 1993 and all the floppy games went with it too! I've been into my army men since I was at least 12 or 13. Did I tell you that I might be getting a guinea pig this year? I'm going to spoil it rotten!

Bronze is an alloy mixture of copper and tin, where as iron is only iron. When you forge iron you get a small amount of carbon in it from the burning of the coal or wood which makes steel. You would of though the recycling iron would make the metal stronger because of the extra carbon. Steel is a combination of iron and carbon, but too much carbon makes it very hard, but brittle, in the industrial revolution they figured out the right levels of carbon and iron, not too much, not too little. were as before we had hard and brittle, and soft and malleable iron, modern steel is somewhere in the middle of those. When iron was first discovered, ending the bronze age, the swords made of bronze were actually stronger then iron. Because the bronze technology had been so refined, it was only after a while did iron become stronger then earlier bronze. Metallurgy became a real science during the industrial revolution, things like aluminium before were so hard to make it was more valuable then gold because it took so much energy to create. I'm not sure about tungsten and titanium though, I assume they were products of that era, as well as many other metals in use today!!!!

Cold Coke and summer were made for each other! I like Three Musketeer Bar, Sticking to the French theme. But I always felt they should have cost less then a HERSHYS Because they weren't solid Chocolate, they were puffed up with air! I guess we were paying for the fancy French Cuisine🍫!
