I can’t get over the seating position on roadbikes.. If I ride one for more than thirty minutes my neck really starts to hurt. I restored myself a super nice roadbike from the sixties, which looked absolutely amazing with its brazed steel frame, that was completely chromed under the paint. It was such a huge disappointment for me that I wasn’t able to ride the bike, no matter which handlebars I tried. I ended up selling it with a big tear in my eyes, but the guy promised me to ride it a lot, which I like better than it sitting in my garage for years, collecting dust..

If it'd take a front derailleur I'd be interested. If the chain guide on the carbon fibre version at 2:25 has holes matching an E-type derailleur it might be an option, but I've no interest in paying a premium for a less durable, more environmentally harmful plastic frames.
@Vitas9932 жыл бұрын
I know it's been almost a year since your comment but even if chain guide could fit front derailleur, the frame wouldn't be compatible, there's no cable outlet anywhere in the frame (well, aside few centimeters from rear brake and derailleur, duh), everything (including dropper) is fully internally routed so no chance for 2x unless you'd have wireless groupset. Also chainring on stock 1x crankset is close to the frame, no space for inner smaller chainring with 2x Tldr: frame was made as 1x specific and it won't take 2x

HTA on a hardtail can’t be compared to a ful suss. At 50% of travel the HTA on the hardtail will be a lot steeper then a full suss with the same starting static HTA. Therefore 67HTA is prob similar to 70 of a full suss.
