Question: What happens to already installed AFT Jobs once you have upgraded the AFT plugin to MFT? Any special handling required to jobs after MFT upgrade?

Hello, Previous AFT jobs will continue to run after upgrading to MFT. No need for special handling.

Upgrading from AFT to MFT. But AFT software is installed on E drive not C. So in that case how do I deploy and install MFT. Is that an issue AFT being on E drive?

Hello. Thank you for you question. Assuming E is a local file system drive (and not a mapped NFS path), there shouldn’t be a problem to upgrade from AFT to MFT, even if Agent is installed on Drive E. Note that: - AFT must be version 8.2.00.xxx - You must upgrade first to MFT 9.0.18.000. As MFT 9 is dropping support in 3 weeks, MFT 18 is the only version that supports upgrade from AFT 8.2 Once you have installed MFT 9.0.18, you can then upgrade to any version (e.g.: 9.0.18.200, 9.0.19.200, 9.0.20) directly.
