Group up in and around Youngstown my whole life. It's not the easiest, but it also isn't the hardest by far. Live in Brownlee Woods. Still a decent area.

I moved away in the early 2000’s and I was puzzled when you drove down Midlothian Blvd. I could have sworn that was two lanes in each direction. Anyways I was back visiting a few weeks ago and it was so nice being able to drive around during rush hour without being stuck in traffic. Also it was so nice being able to go into stores without waiting in long lines. Oh and one other thing is that it is dirt cheap to live in the Youngstown area. You can find a decent one bedroom apartment for under 1000 a month. It almost made me want to move back.

It’s deff crazy cheap but there’s an extremely low work environment you’ll have to travel out to board man or something but I do miss it sometimes

I’m in California (Bay Area) and wouldn’t mind living here…looks peaceful and boring,I like that!! The bay area is gone to HECK!!! (To put it lightly)

The city of Youngstown itself is not a very good place to live. Most of the towns surrounding it, however, aren't too bad.

I left Youngstown in 1964 with a one way ticket to California on a Greyhound bus.

Just moved back from Columbus to take care of an elderly parent. She got dementia and started running up all her bills so we had to come before she lost the house. It's a beautiful area around the park; but, the schools are a mess so it's hard for families to want to live here.

Even though it was kind of sad to see a decline in this great city, it does my heart good to see that it isn't completely down the crapper.Thanx for posting this. I was born and raised on the Northside near Brier Hill. I still love my city even though we moved away.😊😊😊😊

I was raised on steel street and I left oct 3 97 after a really bad accident where I had to learn to walk and talk again it was really ruff but from there I went to Baltimore but besides all that I’ll always love Youngstown always I even have it tattooed across my chest Ohio is where it’s at nothing but love.
