hello man! I have bmpcc6k. tell me, please, in order to stabilize it with gyroflow, do I just need to flash the latest firmware? and after that i can use this camera as a gopro?

Hey! Yep, just update the firmware (assuming it is not de-cased). In the video description is a basic rundown with a link to Gyroflow beta. I'll have a detailed video next week. If you have any questions, drop them here and it could help us decide what we need to cover in the vid.

@@CK3DPRINTS Thanks for the answer, I didn't immediately look at the description under the video. Now everything is almost clear to me. One question, how exactly do I need to export videos from davinci for maximum quality?

@@elik_fpv7636 just color correct and export them the same way you would any other time. Or if you want higher quality, you could export as ProRes. Once you have exported you will use that as the video file in Gyroflow. You will use the original Braw file as the gyro data file. Remember to select the correct lens profile as well in Gyroflow

It's a custom built Shendrones Thicc. If you aren't familiar with this type of drone, it is often referred to as a "Cinelifter"

I know many people don't use DaVinci Resolve, but I wonder how it would compare using DaVinci Resolve to stabilize it with the gyro data versus what you've done here.

We have a video coming up in the next few days showing Gyroflow vs Davinci, and why we use Gyroflow. The short answer: Davinci does not have an auto zoom feature yet (that I have found). Manually cropping in and out is too much work for me lol. Once they have it, davinci will be great for stab.

Thanks🤘 it's just the Thicc 2.1 universal mount. It's hard mounted to the frame, we don't need the gels on this one.

Thanks! The camera makes all the difference. Slow flying around those trees would be 5-7 minutes. I could probably get it up to 6-8 on some batteries. We had 30-40mph winds when we filmed the tower, so only 4-5 then lol. FPV drones aren't known for flight time 😅

@@CK3DPRINTS That's plenty of airtime for B-roll. Plenty plenty. That said, I can't wait for the technology to advance enough to give me an hour plus of loiter time.

Nice! Are you needing to convert to prores before pushing through gyroflow?

Yes, you need to grade it and convert it to Prores or similar. You then use that clip (ideally full length for sync reasons) as the footage clip. You'll use the original Braw clip as the gyro data file. They bake the gyro data into Braw.
