With the T Cine Lock, you still get a wiggle when you rack focus, so it looks like you can get the cheaper one, the non cine lock one, and just use a lens support to mitigate the wiggle.

Be careful with the XL Cine. I was not able to get recent EF lenses to mount with it (Canon 16-35, Tamron 24-70 G2) for example. While my Rokinon Cine DS 85mm mounted no problem. A friend of mine had the same issue using his XL Cine and Canon photo lenses (Canon 24-70 and 70-200). We both ended up returning the XL Cine for the regular XL. I think if you're using older lenses (without weather sealing perhaps) or cine lenses you are probably good. Also, my regular Speedbooster XL doesn't have any play with the lens connection while my Canon EF to Sony E-mount does. Kind of a crap shoot I guess

Great video Justin. I’ve never heard of a CineLock version from Metabones! My Contax/Yashica to MFT had a ton of wiggle room until I added some small pieces of white film leader tape. The wiggle is gone now but the Contax Zeiss lenses are a little too snug (but I’ll take it over the slop before - drove me crazy)! A CineLock version would have solved that issue. Good to know that this option exists.

Budget's an issue for me, so I think I should probably go for a second hand Ultra MFT for $520 USD. But the CINE-lock feature and slightly better clarity of the BMPCC4k-specific version is appealing. Prénom Nom, A dummy adapter increases (almost doubles) the size of the image, this adapter is just a barrel to help you adapt (pair) the lens to the camera. While the Speedbooster increases (widens) the field of view letting you capture more of the scene. Read this article here it has some good examples, www.4kshooters.net/2014/12/21/metabones-speed-booster-vs-dummy-mft-adapters/.
