man i am suprised no one has made this claim yet, but thank you ruadh for using bathory as your inspiration for the rock of the clyde. This sounds like something off his nordland 1 or 2 album. look up the song man of iron if you havent. RIP the pioneer of folk/viking metal

Bit of a soar rip off tho? Not that I personally care. I like this album better than any soar album just saying even the art work and band logo screams soar. For all I know it’s the same members idk. Masterpiece regardless. Amazing album

Not the same members. And you could say there are similarities, in the end both are Scots and the theme for the artwork is autumn in Scotland, which doesnt necesasrily have to be a rip off, nor the logo, for which both of them wanted folky/nature inspired stuff. Ruadh has more heavy metal and Windir influence than from Saor if you ask me.

Totally agree ... same design type, both guys Scotland, very similar style - but still they may be friends or something, what explain that - who knows - important is that there is new good music out ;) btw the other "bands" name is SAOR

No different from most black metal bands. Look at all the second wave clones that exist? But because one bands copies one Scottish band it's somehow unacceptable? Good music is good music. And there's enough differences to get by.
