amazing álbum 10/10 BMP (╬▔皿▔)╯ Excellent Black Metal álbum, raw and uncompromising, straight to the point as it should be. Morbus Dei (The sickness of faith) has created an exciting and ambitious follow-up to “Death Created by Man” that showcases his technical prowess and musical creativity. Lyrically, the álbum deals with themes such as fanaticism, blind faith and hatred, which are reflected in the dark and aggressive tone of the music. Especially in the transition from "The Trilogy of Triumph" to "Permafrost Propaganda", themes are taken up that could not be more contemporary. A notable denunciation of many politicians and their current foolish propaganda. The music on this album is fast and aggressive, with a strong emphasis on melody and atmosphere. All the riffs are intricate and well played, with a good balance between blast beats and slower, more leisurely sections. Arbor's bass lines add depth to the overall sound, while Pain's guitars are sharp and cutting. Zorn's vocals are a highlight, as his raw, raspy screams and growls convey a sense of excitement and intensity. His performance is intense and conveys a sense of aggressiveness, contempt and urgency. The frontman screams like there's no tomorrow, spitting spray and bile through the speakers. In short "The World Left Behind" is more than an album: it is a manifesto of the uncompromising brutality that defines Morbus Dei, pushing the boundaries of black metal while celebrating darkness in its purest and most genuine form.
