I think the trend of calling some of these new bands (i.e., URFAUST) atmospheric black metal is wrong. No disrespect to Urfaust. I actually loved (and still do) the early concept of the TRUE 'atmospheric black metal' (i.e., The Summoning, Agalloch, Burzum etc.) which always featured 'black metal style vocals' as one of the main features of their sound.
