One Ok Rock is awesome! I saw them at Warped Tour back in 2014 and their stage presence/performance was absolutely incredible! Taka their singer also performed with Linkin Park at Chester's memorial show singing Somewhere I belong and he absolutely killed it! By the way their name One Ok Rock is actually a play on words. Its One o'clock in a Japanese accent because when they first started they always practiced at 1 o'clock in the afternoon 😂

Dude I envy you so much! I first see them in 2016 and I miss the 2014 era of ONE OK ROCK, that's probably the turning point when they started to go worldwide. I wasn't being able to go to their concerts till I graduated and got my job so I could travel to Japan for their shows. So much regrets that not being able to go to 2014 MLF at Yokohama Stadium and 2016 Nagisaen, knew them right after 2010 Budoukan so I missed it as well😭 Hope I get time machine, I want to see their past shows so badly......

@@blackdarknessdaemon It was amazing! The bassist was doing round house kicks while playing and Taka was all over the place as well stage presence wise. The bummer part is they were on one of the smaller stages in the middle of the day and didn't have much of a crowd but still they gave their all! They definitely deserved their success

ONE OK ROCK comes from the bands practice time. They practiced at one o clock and since in Japan the letter “L” is pronounced like an “R” that’s how the band name was born or so I believe from what I’ve researched! I think they’re called “One O Krock” Great band though. Love them. You should check out his brothers band “MY FIRST STORY”! 🤘

you should react to Taka's (OOK lead vocalist) brother Hiro's band My First Story! They have a lot of amazing songs too. Would suggest Reviver (it has a music video) as the first song to react to or maybe 1,000,000 Times ft. one of my personal fav JP vocalist Chelly from EGOIST! (it also has a lyric video which is translated already so a lyric breakdown would be nice for it!)

Yooo they're fucking amazing live man you gotta go to one of their live shows. Btw they are more into alt rock/pop punk with screamo in some songs. Some people always confuse them for a metal band but they never did any metal (tho they do have a slight metal elements in some of their songs) The band name actually came from "One 'O Clock" Its a wordplay and the time the band used to practice during weekends because it was cheap to rent a studio during such time lol

@@OhrionReacts Definitely. They have heavier stuff than this. Some screamo, alt rock, pop punk vibes. My favorite song is probably "Ending Story??" The singer Taka goes from singing to rapping to a scream in maybe 15 seconds.
