I am a small garments dealer, the problem with hosiery industry ( undergarments ) is problem of plenty, so many new brands have been launched after success of Page industries. No one is able to grab good market share and sustain.

Basantji, I have worked until my retirement in corporate sector. It's my observation that typically credit for organizational sucess is given by every one to leaders or promoters even if the success is due to scientific achievements of its team. Role of leadership is to influence the outcomes by facilitating and promoting the conducive work environment and encouraging the deserving team members. If I extend it to public life, if political or social leaders take due credit, we should accept it on the face value. This is the way world is. Failures are pinned down to some one but credit is not given collectively in most of the scenario. Thanks. Pankaj k from Baroda.

Sir rural distress may be definitely there but here in Chandigarh I find all malls, multiplexes, food courts, restaurants etc bursting with people. All roads to Manali, Shimla, Kasauli , Dharamshala etc jam packed. Hotels, Homestays full but we keep crying that there is no disposable income with the people. Sir just drive down to one of the hill stations.People are coming from different parts of the country. These are not some rich or ultra rich, these are average middle class people. People with small businesses are splurging money here. Even remote areas in Himachal are bursting with lower middle & middle class tourists.The only problem with us is that agriculture income is out of the income tax purview. Also the percentage of direct tax payers is abysmally low. Lastly we have the habit of unnecessarily cribbing against the system always & every time for our own inadequacies.

Sir, Underwear business cannot be determined by studiying the figures of listed companies like Page, Lux or Roopa. Common man has got lot of options and he can buy the same stuff at a very attractive price from companies that are unlisted too. I think our economy is on right track Sir.

A question from Your book: buying the index isn't enough more so in india where the index itself is market cap weighted instead of being price weighted as it is in the U.S.A market cap weighted index remains skewed to a few stocks and also distorts returns for the investor. Why it is not profitable to invest in index in India ??

Sir I have stayed in US for 4 years. Most of the homeless are relying on social securities but the rent is so high that they can’t afford housing. On the other hand due to some crime or default their record is marked or their credit is so low that they can’t get a good rent or even get a job. They are forced to stay homeless and they get into all kind of malpractices and drugs.

Sir, I have watched all your 87 episodes on investing with Manvi Ji must say it is no less than doing an investing course. Two things got stuck in my head, one being the big initial capital we don't focus on. Second, we don't take loans for investing in equity. I am thinking of something and need your suggestion, I have an apartment should I sell and take 70 lacs value of the apartment. Or should I take a mortgage loan against it for a safer side to make big initial capital as I already have a portfolio of 25 lacs? At present, I am 34. What you would have done if you were in my place?

सर नमस्कार सर आप केवल एक ही चीज उठा कर देख लीजिए इन्फ्लेशन जब जब कांग्रेस की गवर्नमेंट रही है तब तक इन्फ्लेशन भयंकर से भी भयंकर रहा है और जब भी बीजेपी की गवर्नमेंट रही चाहे वह अटल बिहारी वाजपेई की या नरेंद्र मोदी की इन्फ्लेशन बहुत ही काम रहा है मतलब मेरा यह कहना है कि इंफ्लेशन से ज्यादा गरीब को और गरीब तो कोई दूसरी चीज करती ही नहीं है तो जब इन्फ्लेशन बीजेपी कंट्रोल में रखती है तो गरीब गरीब और गरीब कैसे हुआ साथ ही कांग्रेस की इतनी सालों का रि distribution इंदिरा गांधी का जमीन आंदोलन मुझे नहीं लगता कि कोई भी तरीके से कांग्रेस गरीबी से बाहर ला पाई इंडिया को शायद इनका capitalisn ये काम कर जाए China में तो कर गया

सर आपके वीडियो रोज देखता हुं अच्छा ज्ञान मिलता हैं... सर खाद्य मेहंगाई का मुख्य कारण हैं खेति मे युवको की रुची नहीं होना.... सभी को एसी मे बैठकर डेस्क जॉब करना है खेती करने मे मन नहीं है इस के लिये जब तक यंग जनरेशन को agriculture मे नहीं लाते तब तक food inflation कम नहीं होगा... आपकी राय सर?
