Your chapters are crisp and dense. Too many nuggets to digest in one go. 😊 I am past 60. Most of my youth I considered stock markets as vapourware or speculation. U never bought a lottery ticket. I started looking at the markets since 2016. Learnt that trading doesn't make sense. Broker's and friend's advice is almost useless. Self research is best. Spin off is any transfer of a business/ unit from a company.. demerger is just one mode of spin off.. you can do share transfer, demerger or asset transfer or slump sale depending on how the business is held, commercial and tax consideration. P.s. only in bengal peanuts are called badam. Rest of the country thinks we are putting almond in jhal muri😂

Sir pl ye ques lijiye. Asset management companies ki value 2.5 percent of equity aum hoti hai. Toh ye jo figure niklta hai ye book value hua kya? Aur isko infrenece kaise kare actual valuation se. For ex hdfc amc equity aum 6.7 lakh crore of which 48% is equity. Iska 2.5% hua 8144 cr. But mcap iska hai 83 thousand crore. What does 8.1 thousand crore signify? Book value, intrinsic value or market cap?
