BMW 1250 GS/A VARIO Panniers - Are They Terrible?

Hi Dave. Reach out to ADV Motorrad…great guys. Check out the Bumot Defender EVO panniers for your 1250 GSA, they are fantastic. I picked up a set of “blemished” panniers for mine (they claim small scratches, not that I could find any), fitment is perfect, top loading, optional interior lid organizers and made to fit inside pannier travel bags. No molle but you can strap on top of lids (corner mounting points).

I love that my x large helmet fits in the right side when expanded. So far my bags have been great!

I had the same view about the Vario System. Fortunately, my used GSA came with the top loading aluminum cases which are keyed to my fob. They are very sturdy and roomy, as well as easy to take on and off, but pricey.

My cases came with the bike ... I'm surprised how expensive they seem to be on Ebay, etc.. Thanks for watching!

I didn't know the vario bags fit on the the GSA, will look for them! Let me know if you want to sell yours any time in the future😂I assume the top box fits too!
