Very nicely done. Became a fan of Overdrive after their Gloster review which pointed out actual flaws in the car that would concern a potential buyer instead of just listing out the feature set. This one was also great. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. PS: Please review the Audi Q2 too which targets a similar demographic albeit in an entirely different manner.

@@Gizmo_india True. I don't get it why people associate cheapest luxury cars with *"LUXURY"* . Non luxury cars are better in that case . They offer more space, more storage, is as luxurious as the cheap luxury models if not better . And above all they are not people magnet as these luxury cars are . I get it that we think the big car badges means a luxury car. But if you are getting a better car at the same price point so why not? It is another case if you buy the E Class, A6 , 5 series or above but these cheap luxury are totally useless.

@@aniketpal2420 It's like owning an iPhone vs. an Android phone of the same price. There's a style/image statement associated with the luxury car brands which you don't get with the other brands. Though not the most practical choice, for a lot of people the brand matters more.

Thanks! BMW India are relatively more successful than the other luxury brands in the entry level space. Primarily because of the X1. Precisely why I gave that long intro to establish that sedans or hatchbacks aren’t very successful in the compact luxury space. Anything under a C/3/A4 doesn’t make practical sense for the price. The Mini suffers from a same problem, but compared to the A/1 they have done better.

This will definitely not do good sales in india. It's far better than Mercedes CLA. People would go for X1 rather than 2 series. Some people who likes the exterior styling and looking for a sedan less cheaper than 3 series might go with the 2 series. It's better to buy X1 in India because both the 2 series GC and X1 are front wheel drive.

At 4:58 is reported that it has 15.2 cubic feet or 430 liters of trunk or boot space. This is the typical FAKE GOURMET sedan, the one that comes ready to be swallowed by an SUV. In the ranking of decent sedans (TOP 500 SEDANS) with a trunk capacity above 500 liters or 17.6 cubic feet it does not enter. The trunk of this car is smaller than the trunk of the Renault Megane, a HATCHBACK sold in Australia which has a trunk of 434 liters or 15.3 cubic feet of capacity.
