BMW 2012 F30 328i Battery location & All levels under hood

Is it ok to disconnect the negative on an F30 to do some DIY, without causing any problems after reconnecting?

Guy moves to fast and hard to understand. If I want to charge the battery can I hook to the positive and that peg? Where's the battery?

Ah ok so where is the battery negative? At 0:23 it shows the positive but where is the negative? Sorry don’t know much about cars

It's not the negative. It's the ground.
