Interestingly enough, I stopped by the 'Wheeler Dealers Live' stage at the NEC classic car show last year. In real life Brewer is actually a pretty sharp guy and can be an intimidating figure. I assume that's a car salesman thing. Edd China seems like a really nice guy.

I think you were looking at between £5 - 8k for a CSL back in 2000, depending on condition. As for the bat mobile for £30k, that seems like an absolute bargain now. They're fetching between £180 - £250k today.

I can't believe it, £7000 for a BMW CSL in 1972! My house was built in 1971 and was bought for £6500 in December of that year, so that BMW cost more than the average three bedroom house in its day.
