totally agree on second to first issue at near stop. Makes a pretty big difference. Would like to see a long term review of stage 1 to see if there are material economy improvements to be had.

xhp was the best thing ever to make my 335i n54 feel like modern again. I just used the stage 1 alpina setting, but its amazing.

It’s actually normal for the gear box to stop on 2 gear on comfort mode , it’s only in sport and sport plus that it stops on first gear.

Just about to purchase this for my 530d, just wish the licence came with the 3 maps instead of custom settings for £130ish, then if you wanted the custom stuff you paid the extra 60 odd quid.

While using manual shifting by any of stages of this uprgrade, does it shift automatic when you reach very high revs in manual mode? Thanks for reply

are you ure u got -0,6 sec with s3 without map? on 210hp stock? and with stage 1 you got onl 6,4 sec? have stage 2 but thinking of stage 3, stage 2 reacts too slow sometimes

so u have to get the flash license and the map pack in order to be able to have stage 3? otherwise what? You try to make it stage 3 from the flash license?

That was the software of the car telling you its basically a virus and then the software over writing it. I would put it back to stock and leave it be

I would never do one of these phone flashes you find on the net. Let's see how long the gearbox lasts. Go to a specialist grt it done right

You obviously dont know what a xhp map is then! Its the biggest and best in the game for 6 speed and 8 speed bmws

Probably got faults . The map says it will tell you of problems .. it did . So it'll clear them and your gear box will be dead in 6 months haha
