BMW 335i N54 Oil Filter Housing Gasket Leak

I've had an oil leak for quite some time now, I replaced the valve cover gasket and the oil pan gasket and it just didn't get rid of that pesky leak. Finally, I decided to replace the Oil filter housing gasket. This was definitely a huge contributor to the amount of oil that was leaking down the engine. I did quite a bit of time lapse to keep the length of the video down.

Nice Job, Doing this today on my 2009 535 with the N54. Caused the upper radiator hose to soften and leak at the clamp closest to the housing. Also replacing the o-rings on the oil cooler lines etc.

Thanks bro, any angles i can get on my 335i oil leaks... I'm happy and deserves a like and subscribe, even if it's not a how to, bolt by bolt. I already did rear main. And my oil filter housing has only been leaking for about a month. Nice to know that i should catch this early..

My 335 has oil on the bellhousing and passenger engine support exactly like yours but no oil coming from the front I've done the oil pan gasket and still oil leaking did this fix the oil coming from the back bellhousing area?

I got the same leak dripping down between motor and trans in bell housing area. Just ordered my ofhg and will be replacing ASAP. Hopefully it’s not rear main seal!
