Dude this sounds amazing. I have my 540 with a single straight pipe, because of the diffuser, like you said - super cool that you made room for the double. Totally true what you said about the drone too, unless I’m giving it gas, it runs super quiet.

X pipe wouldnt separate the sound in my opinion as u joining 2 pipes into 1 again. . The only way to separate the sound of the 2 heads would be by having a slightly longer pipe on 1 side with a bend in it. So 1 sounds before the other to help it burbble even more. But it sounds awesome as it is. U done a good job. Id b very much happy with that sound.

@@A1Brian an xpipe, merges the two sounds of the two sides of the motor, to get the proper v8 sound. Having each side of the block Unmerged gives you a hot rod exhaust setup.

I will see. But you basically grab a jack. Strong 3 inch piping. And jack it up against the spare well where the straight pipe will go. Just watch out for the battery.

This sounds almost like a W204 C63, it's too bad that modern European performance cars don't have that American V8-esque exhaust anymore, they sound too quiet compared to these 2000s-early 2010s vehicles. Some models like the M3 went totally away from the V8 too which sucks

ik what u talking about my e38 v8 have a muffler delete. and if I hold the gas pedal at a curtain point the car will cruise without slowing down and it makes the muffler noise silent like its stock exhaust

Nicee! As long as the timing chain guides and vanos is done. Nothing major. Keep an eye on the cooling system. Only problem i really have is the radiator. On my 3rd within a year😂

Duran Stephen Kinda hard to tell. Still has the low end torque. The gas is about the same too. No big changes.

Yuma Okamoto Thanks! I had to get a dual diffuser. And for the spare well. I basically smashed a 3” pipe in to dent it up. To make space for the exhaust pipe.

Anthony Michael I got a jack and some 3 inch black plumbing piping and i jacked it up into the spare where the pipe would go. I explain it in the video.

Lethal Redd Thanks! The headlights are the face lift ones. Like from 01-03 with the halos. They came with the orange/ amber corner lens. All i did was change the lens to the clear/ euro kind.
