What a time when a 7 series with a 3l diesel accelerates as well as an M5 from 0-100.

bullshit. M5 V10 old 507 hp acclerates in 4.5 sec to 100 and in 14 sec to 200 without launchcontrol. An old e500 5.0 v8 4 matic acclerates the same time from 0-200 with only 306 hp, like this joke with 381 hp This 750 dx acclerates in 5.7 sec to 100 without launchcontrol !!! Are you starting with 3000 rpm on each corner??? Not real. A v8 or V10 or V12 does not need launchcontrol and over 100 beats this joke 3.0 diesel? Have you ever drive this 750xd??? i had the luck to drive it. Never more. You can hear and feel the vibration of the diesel inside the car. Drive an 750ix and you will never want a diesel...Who the f..ck wana by for 150.000 Euro a diesel????? 🤮🤮🤮

Diesel is not my stuff but for someone who knew 80's and even 70's diesels, this is impressive. Acceleration is massive but I think the most amazing is the low noise level when cruising at 200+. Interested in finding out how reliabilty will be in some years as pressure in this must be high and I wouldn't like to be the one to pay for 4 turbos and a bunch of injectors.

The reliability is the price to pay for such performance. People are already complaining about the bi-turbo set up in the Audis. If you are to own this one out of warranty, you are either really brave or fucking stupid.

0-200 in 20 sec is not a big deal for 400 hp. Mercedes e550 5.5 V8, 420 hp remaped 0-200 in 16 sec and vmax open: 310 km/h only 20 Hp different but V8 without turbos.

I don't think there is a road legal diesel engine with more specific power so i guess it's not easy to obtain

there is , it´s the 2017 Porsche Panamera 4S Diesel. It have 422 HP and 850 Nm and a top speed of 285 km

keld jeppesen 105hp/l dude, it's a 4.0 V8... Do you know what specific power is ? It would need at least 533hp to beat the B57S' record with its V8.

Didnt know bmw had dropped 3l 4turbo. Damn that must be most powerful 6c diesel and very economical too

not realy economic the 750ix needs 1.5 l more benzin in the same time and the v8 is the only one engine in this luxury car. I had driven both. I would never choose the diesel. It is loud inside, vibration in the seats, by acclerating sounds like a truck... and if the turbis are over, you will pay much more for the repair like you should have bought a 750ix V8 with the fuelconsum...

I'd guess somewhere between 170-180mph... It was still pulling well when it hit the indicated 260kph.

I dont get it... you purchase a car for 100 oder 150k Euro and get yourself a diesel cause you cant afford the fuel?^^

@Dave Palomba There's no additional registration tax in Germany, the annual tax for a diesel is higher (like the purchase price) and the insurance is calculated from the accident statistics, so it depends from your driving, not the type of fuel^^ It's just economic for business drivers with at least like 50.000 km per year and tax refund but most of the people go for a diesel cause they pay 5 ct less at the gas station and think they made a good deal :D

the sound is horrible 🤮🤮🤮 in a 7 Bmw diesel???? For what? it sounds like a 2.0 tdi why are you starting a 400 hp car with 3000 Rpm???? Start it without high torque!!! Be fair!!! It s not real. An V8 does not need to use launchcontrol. 4.7 sec is not true. 5.7-6.0 without launch control. An old mercedes e500 5.0 V8 does not need to start with 3000 rpm and has also 0-100 in 5.5 sec with only 306 Hp. and good luck if the turbos are over ( and they will be in shortest time over). The earlier model with "only" 3 turbos has a lot of Problems with the synchronising and Turboptessure 3.5 Bar!!! It s not a big technologie. 20 Years ago the cars had max. 1 bar. 3.5 Bar damages all the parts (injectors...) Take a look to the old mercedes e55 kompressor: 5.5 compressor 476 hp and only 0.5 bar. Thats technologie 😎
