POV=point-of-view. It's the use of a camera worn by someone that shows things from that person's perspective so you feel like it's you seeing and experiencing exactly what they are (more or less). If I'm not mistaken, the camera is generally worn on a strap that goes around a person's forehead so you're seeing almost at eye level what that person is seeing. Some people get a seasick sensation from that camera set-up if the motion is too harsh/jarring, but I've never experienced that on this channel.

I'd like to see a combination of the two. For giving a detailed look on the in- and outside of the car it is nice to use a cameraman because you can actually get into those details this way. But for the driving bit the POV angle is perfect because as a viewer you get the feeling of being in the drivers seat.

POV was the reason I started following the channel because it gives a great view of the car and gives the viewer an idea of how it is behind the wheel. So it would be a shame to loose it. It's unique and no-one else does this at the moment. However, I do like the split screen so for me the best would be the presented outside review and then the split screen for the drive and have the original POV at the top and the self view and speedo at the bottom. ........... and Max needs a hairstylist ;-)

I know this was four years ago. I don’t know if you guys pay attention to the comments on your older videos, but…. I like both the POV and you giving a real description of what you’re driving how you’re feeling what you’re doing. If I had to vote for one or the other, I would say POV because I have watched the 0 to 320 video of the 760 dozens of times and this is only the third time I’ve watched this video. I like the car.

I think it's fantastic that the big manufacturers do a sort of "technology platform" that says "look guys, this is what we can do". The vehicles will not be big sellers for the manufacturer but I'm sure glad that they do it. Whilst I like the new format, one of the things from the old format that came across was a sort of "intimacy" which is somewhat missing with the new format. For instance, if Max has his mind blown (Klasen R8) and his voice goes up an octave and he starts apologizing for not knowing what to say or talking gibberish, I am not sure we are going to "feel it" with the new format - and this is one of the things that makes your channel so freakin popular. So have a think about that guys. Anyway, still my favourite car channel on youtube.
