All EV's do something below a certain %. How will the CE-04 respond?

I have the ce04 for quite some time now and in my experience there is never a significant power drop - even under 5% - You are still able to ride 80-100 km/h. You can even drive with 0% for a few kilometers with around 60km/h. So you will always be able to get to a charger.

This was informative and helpful for future long rides. I have CE04 but have only done short trips and have never been under 50% charge. It is good to know I can ride comfortably if my charge is lower. I was surprised you stayed in Dynamic mode with a low charge instead of switching to Eco.

I wanted to see if I could continue riding normally in dynamic mode, and It didn't force me out of it. (unlike the Niu which forces you into limp mode once you hit 15%) You should be fine letting it drop to 20% before you need to charge. Glad you like the video!

I enjoyed watching you ride in Japan traffic, I miss that. FYI, I had to leave my C Evo unattended for 1 year, and when I was finally able to check on it, the traction battery was still at 100%! EV batteries really are more resilient than I think people’s perception is overall. I also had a VW e-Golf and have been able to extract close to its 301 km catalog range. Cheers

I drive a 168cc fuel injected scooter 15 miles to work. I take fun and pretty back roads that don't exceed 45mph. I think the CE-04 would be perfect for me. It's growing on me

We will all eventually need to make that change. I just did it early because it works for me. Current electric bikes are perfect for short commutes. 10 years from now Im sure they will be even better with regards to range.

Early? C Evo has been around for 9 years ;) Or maybe you meant early adopter of EV overall. My commute was 50 km one way, include fast stretches and had no issues with my C Evo even in winter, although in Kansai it doesn’t drop below freezing. I even went by highway once (one way), and it held its charge fine.

Hi All👋🏽 I too have the CE04, just completed a long drive with it and also took it down to 9%. My test was 40 miles each way with a level 2 charger in between. At the destination I was left with 38%, rode back for 17 miles to reach the charger and now left with 9% soc. I founded out that my bike only have the standard 10amps or 2.3kw charger, bummer 🙃…, took 40 minutes to get 38% for about 27 miles of range, I need 21 miles to ride back home. It almost died on me, i have to stop for another charge in a Nissan dealership, charged for about 20 minutes, ate some popcorn and drank a Red Bull while waiting. I was able to get home but used eco mode at that time. Anyway, I wish that I got the fast charger, would have been one charge in between only.

Good to know! The CE-04 is a new battery though, same modules used in the i4/iX. Has anyone taken this one down to 0%?
