engine is a m88 with 24v probably a modified m88/3 don't think it can be a s38 because the s38 was not made until later

I would say it's indeed an s38, at least the cylinder head. Maybe the owner has put a s38 cylinder head on a m30 block (don't know if it's possible though). All american M635CSI's have the s38 instead of the M88,which the european has, so it's definitly possible the owner has mixed and matched parts.

Indeed S38 engine. S38 head to M30 block is possible, but basically pointless because of the amount of work needed. Even if it was M30 block in this case, I wouldn't count it as an M30 engine any more. Respect to all M30 making over 300hp! This one is basically stock S38, so, meh...
