Hey Marty and Moog, anyway you could do a random fun video where you plum in the A/C output and redirect it to the air intake? See if its any benefit or if its parasitic and doesn't make any more power? I'd think it'll be an interesting video concept.
@BobMonkeypimp3 жыл бұрын
@@chrisnorman1183 I like your way of thinking, but I'm pretty sure the power to run the compressor would outweigh any gains. Although, if the A/C was plumbed to the intake *and* inside the car, perhaps that'd be a way to run your A/C with less power loss... Only one way to find out...

I just wanted to take an opportunity to wholeheartedly thank Marty, Moogs, and everyone who has ever contributed to this channel. As a 40 year old bloke who loves cars but has never had the confidence or financial means to do what I truly want, this channel means a lot to me and many others. The feeling I get when seeing a new video has been posted, could only relate to the feeling I got as a fat kid on a family road trip. You would be driving up the freeway and see the golden arches glowing in the distance, you know the one. That feeling you got when you saw Dad flick on the blinker! Basically, I live vicariously through the videos you make. I don't care what brand of car it is this week! I care about seeing people do something they clearly love, I admire the effort you put into your content. From the puns, jokes, camera work, editing, music, and of course the car content. It all comes together to create something special every single time. This has honestly been the best 13 years, 5 months, and 10 days I have ever been subscribed to anything!(Longer than any relationship to 😂). Can't thank you guys enough, keep up the awesome work!

@stlchucko3 жыл бұрын
There’s a lot of “cold air intakes” don’t actually draw in cold air efficiently, instead bringing hot air from under the hood. Sometimes it’s better to just modify the factory box and use a smooth tube between it and the throttle body.
