@@surmatti There are 2 stickers, one on the front grill looks fine. One was wrong at one point in the video. If it is the Boot one it wasn't shown mounted in this video. Only mentioned because it was worth a check. I suspect he already caught it though.

Me and you both mate, I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger next month and swap my Z4 for an E30. It's not easy to come by a decent condition manual transmition one that isn't either a convertible or really expensive in the UK though...

I have been restoring an e28 for several years. I really enjoyed this vid. Cars are similar. However, when he is done, his is going to be worth good money. Mine, not so much. Nice work Antonio!!!

Mint E28's in Europe are worth 20k easily. Obviously, the E30 M3 will be like 130-150k when restored like this, but still you are probably not restoring it for money but rather for yourself. Plus, e28 is a great car to pass down to your son or grandson one day, and the price will only ever rise from now as many are destroyed by rust and being parted away.

@@RestoreIt I don't know about 2002 prices over in UK but I see plenty of *mostly rust free shells for around 2,000 USD and 5,000 with everything original in a non functional vehicle. With all this being said, American roads do the worst to vehicles as far as I've seen. Maybe if a fan sent you a link to a steal of a restore worthy project then these dreams could become reality 😎 (LHD is the only downside)

Being used to work on japanese cars, when I see those over engineered german cars, I cringe so much at the absurd amount of pieces for one single part. The trims on the doors, for example...why ? just why ? so many unnecessary pieces to break down and make maintenance harder. Hats off for you guys for doing it with such passion! Thanks Coolissim as always dude! The work carried out at mine isn't costing him anything apart from parts. All works carried out anywhere else has costed him, so he is saving money doing it with me yes. It's a win win, i get content and he saves some money and gets to help out on the project. I will be consistant one day soon I can promise you that my man.

Excellent work, I'm busy restoring my E30 325i. But I can't afford all new clips and trimmings, it would cost me Hundreds of Thousands Rands / Tens of Thousands of Dollars, and half the stuff will arrive here in South Africa if ordered. Your M3 is like new with all new lights and trimmings.

Will you be restoring the interior to factory original? Or will your modify it? For example; making the dash board fit a double-din head unit, adding a sound system, installing usb charge ports, etc..

The interior will be restored, as for detailed like that. I haven't spoken to Antonio about it. I'm sure he will answer in the comments some time soon :D

Fantastic work mate. I restored mine a few years ago. Just one thing, you have a kidney grille from a standard model, not an M3. The m3 grille Dosent have the top portion between the slats closed. 👍🏼
