BMW E30 S54 Swap, RELIABILITY?

would you have somewhere scribbled the best way to approach this build? (i.e. a checklist what needs to be done)? Reviewed after the complete.. I am a complete beginner, but getting an e30 and want to swap in the s54 as efficiently as possible. Would appreciate the help!

I am frustrated to inform you that I lost all of my spreadsheets and receipts to my S54 and S62 build. I had years and thousands of dollars saved into them and long story short, computer crashed and ate them. I’d be more than willing to guide you through the build. Since your having so many issues the fuel pump. Which fuel pump are you using? Are you using a dedicated power wire or the wire from the harness?

I’m using a standard swap harness and it goes through the fuel pump relay. I was using Walbro 255s and after being through 3 of them, I switched to Areomotive 255 and haven’t had any issues with them.

Did you use a custom crossmember mount for the transmission?

I did…kind of. I used Garagistic’s 6 speed brackets and welded them in. Fit like a charm.
