BMW E36 Maximum Attack || 9.000Rpm S54 Engine Swap

Lebanon has one of the most spectacular Hillclimb Championships in the World and Michael Zgheib has been for years one of the reasons why. Here you can watch him with his lastest Monster, this beautiful BMW E36 attacking Wadi Chahrour Hill Climb last year.
This E36 unit is powered by a S54B32 engine unit producing a screaming 496Hp/9.000Rpm transmitted to the rear Wheels through a Samsonas Gearbox. Weighing little over 1000Kg and driven right one th edge, much like the previous machines piloted by Mr. Zgheib, it makes for some incredible footage on the narrow streets that mark this event.

Man, this must be one of the most challenging Hillclimb stages I've ever seen. A real test of mental fortitude. One small mistake or lapse in concentration and you're getting intimate with a brick wall.

this dude is nuts, god damn, so narrow road and sharp edges from stairs corner of houses fences whatever and this nutty just floors it like there is no tomorrow, so million things could go wrong any given time. awesome performance for him it was enjoyment to see but the level of danger for our entertainment, this is mental :D

This kind of driving is the most fun to watch imo (why I love rally). Track racing is usually about maintaining grip at all times, which can be a bit boring. Drifting is sliding around just for the sake of sliding around. This is the perfect balance.

This is a great combo with the s54 drivetrain in the e36 chassis. I've driven and built a few of 'em. How can you really go wrong with the ITB's and the internal work to rev it out?!?! Those gutted/ paint matched headlights look awesome. Great alternative to a headlight duct if the lights aren't needed. VAC Motorsport built engine I'm guessing?? Is there a build thread on this thing? I'd be really interested in checking it out. Great clip, thank you for posting!!!
