@RedEye305, you have to clean your AC system with special foam sprey regularly, mean least once a year because of the risk of bacteria creation, that cause odor and may be dangerous for your health.

I know this is a 9 year old comment but holy shit I changed out the cabin air filter on my E36 M3 a year ago and it was the most painful thing on planet earth. Sitting back down on the passengers seat taking out the glovebox piece was a damn nightmare

You probably already found out, but... captain here anyway :) It's good to change it with every oil and air filter change. Also, if you have condensation in the cabin it's pretty much due to a bad pollen filter.
