the 318 is a 1.9L, if u want to re-bore it it would be 2.2L so a 2L just not worth it imo

Stock engine reaches max power at 5500 rpm, maybe revving to 6000+ rpm doesn't help too much.

@@onepunch2j308 True, the old M43 was a pretty reliable unit. Also the old 2.0 inline six (m52tub20) from the pre-facelift e46 320i is much more reliable than n42 and n46. It also has beautiful six cylinder sound, but the downside is worse fuel economy haha
