What saved my engine n52 was to vent to atmosphere cracnkcase gases, I changed twice ccv valve and I had same problem , sucking alot of oil from my engine to intake.Now my exhaust gases are clean , catalytic error codes doesn't show anymore and the engine is running smooth and a lot better ... I almost changed my engine because I believed it was the piston rings ...

Have you tuned the engine before having this issue? Venting the crankcase gasses is a good way to deal with the excess pressure and if you want to tune the engine then venting is a must for the N52.
