Added comment - finally got around to changing my bulbs. It was more complicated than shown. The driver side headlight assembly cannot come out (at least in my car) without messing with the igniter wiring, which I did not want to do. Could not get assembly out even when bolts removed. Plugs were also different pass vs. driver. Previous commenters have noted. Harder than on the E39. FWIW to the next DIYer.

Very useful video, but I find your website hard to navigate. I'd love to replace all the weather stripping (on the headlights and indicators), lens covers and bulbs, but I can't see that you have a kit for this, and I can't seem to find all of the parts I need individually. I'm not in the US but have bought through you before and find your products really good!

Just did my headlight lens swap, probably should mention the left side has the ballast mounted to the body and not headlight on the m3, make sure to unbolt the ballast before trying to remove the headlight. I also find it easier to remove the lower trim off the headlight first

Great video! Couldn't have done it without it, and they look great. However, the video is for the right side. The left side has wires coming from it to a box on the wheel well. I had to do that one without completely removing the assembly

Hi Chris, there is a good chance you can do so, you will just want to be cautious of the surrounding areas, the last thing you want to do is scratch any paint around the headlights.

Is there a seal on the inside of the lens? Should that be replaced?

Hi there, before the lower trim is pulled out all the way, you want to separate the nozzle from the over so it can be fully removed, otherwise the process remains the same!
