Half relevant question. I've just brought a lovely 125i E82. Non CIC. I want to retrofit the CIC system. Do I need to change any of the wiring. Or would it be plug and play with the additional wiring for the I drive controller and screen. Then coding in a new head unit?

I quite like the CD73 professional radio, however on my E90 330Xi Dean, my radio pixels have the dead pixel problem. Have you done a video on how to repair faded pixels on a BMW non iDrive professional radio for E9X or E8X BMWs?

Nope not needed too mate 😂 I just bought this one as it was needed anyway for the Bluetooth and usb as my old one didn’t have them options and this one just had the screen replaced. But what I will do is do a video for you on the old one as the pixels are faded on that one so I will take it apart for you.

According to my vin, my e90 has preparation for CD changer, does that mean it’s a plug and play, with all the wiring already in place? Where does the cd changer sit, under the boot? Cheers doctor!

Hi, thank you for your video. I have a same tool (launch), and I added 6fl and 6nn to fa but functions are not available. (Usb/bluetooth.) I tried 6nl too. I have an e89 23i, 2010. do you have any idea what is the problem? Thanks Andy

If the car came originaly with UFL (644 option), is it enough to add just 6FL? This way the car will still use the UFL module for bluetooth, right? And also if that is the case, I would not need to reruote the antenna and mic cables from the trunk to the radio?

Hi there ! My stereo CD73 professional died 🥲 on my E90 (2009) series 3 - it has only a AuX plug. I ordered a second-hand stereo on eBay. Bad surprise the model displays USB on the screen but not AUX. I saw your video on how to change the AuX plug to include an USB but a bit tricky. Can we add AUX by using the programmer you presented in the video here ? Thanks for your advice … P.S : I am thinking about installing also a CarPlay in a while …

I have a 08 318i with Professional audio (0663), HiFi speaker system (0676) and USB /audio interface (06FL). The MULF2 module is in the trunk of the car. I have do not have BT phone nor BT audio. Do I have what is necessary to code in the MULF2 module? Thanks!

Hi thanks for the awesome videos, iv e just replaced my e60 motherboard with one from an e90 lci that had pre set buttons when i try it with my faceplate it doesnt work but works perfect with the e90 faceplate. Do you know if theres a way to code my faceplate to the motherboard pls

Hi I have been a subscriber for many years and would like to thank you for all the useful information you have given us. Can this tool change FA from 8KA to 8KM. Oil service from 30000km to 12000 km. Then it will have to code the Kombi end engine ecu. Will it code them automatically and then save the new FA to the vehicle. It would be great for you to do a video showing the whole procedure. Awesome! Well, done and I'm totally down for adding this retrofit to my BMW. Would you be willing to provide a bit of guidance on how one would determine whether one's factory head unit may just need USB coded in, or require a totally different head unit? I don't have Nav and I'm fairly certain my BMW Professional radio is the HD model. I commented in your last video that my E82 came from factory with both the Aux/USB ports, but the USB only supplies power. Is there perhaps a handy reference for compatible part numbers for units including full USB sound? Thanks!

It’s cheap enough already ! I don’t think they would make it any cheaper find another device for this price that can do all this for bmw. I secondly wouldn’t let them bring it any lower purely because of it’s capabilities.

I have a 2011 E82 135i, but it only has AUX. I need to look if I have the later version Headunit/Radio to check for USB plug... wont be buying a new radio just for USB

No you cannot you need ULF module for that or buy a BT audio device that connects to the usb and aux
