BMW F-Series FEM Key Programming with AVDI

Hi Friends,
We got the chance to get our hands on the Abrites Diagnostics for the BMW FEM Key programming special function. We got a BMW F20 with all keys lost.
The video shows you how we managed to get it going again using the BN013 license and AVDI.

Hardware used:
1. AVDI - abrites.me/AVD...
2. Laptop
3. ABPROG or another EEPROM programmer - abrites.me/ZN030
4. Protag - abrites.me/PRO...
5. ZN051 Distribution Box (or a working key if adding a spare key) - abrites.me/ZN0...
6. A blank key for the car
Software needed:
1. BN013 - abrites.me/BN013

Too much hassle, thats not something to be done on the road specially for spare key, too risk. Still waiting for some software improvement. 🤷‍♂️

Hello Abrites team , please post a video clear how can we read ISN from DME/DDE for all F and E serie by obd in all key lost situation , as you said before , and how we program keys in situation all key lost F and E serie .

😳😳😳 you donts see better tools .. avdi is worst!! High price not usefully .. because autel all isn can read by obd! 10 times cheap then avdi..and also repair. Worst investment ever!!

Tried this with a FEM on the bench... Spent two hours trying to get AVDI to reach the server, then when it did, it read the FEM and said not supported... After making the customer wait over 4 hours, finally told them to go to the dealer... The AVDI server is impossible to reach from the US...

Some version not support and user and software before removing fem can't detect this version support or not support ! F30 .- 2013 Not support

Can i ask pls my Bmw F20 not bring power to desh and it not starting and we find a folt FEM problem so i bot another FEM so i want to know that if i change (EEPROM elemant) to that old one to replace to a new one ibot it can warks in ma car help pleace

Für den FEM gibt es leider kein anderen Weg. Der EEPROM muss modifiziert werden, sonst, geht die Schlüsselprogrammierung nicht.

Ist es möglich eine zange zu benutzen zum auslesen von eprome oder muss er von Bord runter?

What is your recommendation when all keys lost and only drivers door unlocked is there a way to unlock all doors via obd to access fem

Hello my friend, If the model has a button to unlock all dors, you can try it. Else, you can just try to pull the door lever from inside to get the door to automatically unlock. If this does not work, I suppose if you read the FEM in diagnostics, you can enter the actuators and try to unlock the doors using the software. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hi Faz, All keys lost is a possible scenario, you need to read the DME ISN on bench firs. There's a video about it, check out the videos on my channel.
