ive just put carbon fibre look mirror caps on this minute and I honestly couldnt have done it without your video . A massive thanks to you brother. (the first set of mirror caps sent to me were way too small. I think it was for the E60 even though the order was for F10 (pre lci) and they are still trying to get out from refunding me! they even suggested i sell it on. I said to them I dont even know what model of car it is for! Keep using delaying tactics so now its gone even beyond the time span to leave negative feedback !! ebay wont do anyhthing because its been going on for so long! Im going to order something very cheap from them again for a few £ just so i can leave them negative feed back!!! lol ) anyway I wont bore you any longer and thanks again. Hope your boys teeth have grown :)

Love it man. Looks good. You can heat up the chrome door handle trim with a hair dryer and slide a credit card underneath it as a pry tool to remove it. Black those out and it’s lookin real nice bro!

yes to the dual slat m5 grille. also just my opinion. but if you do the front lip then the sides and rear lips also! it will be subtle, but add that extra bit of bliss. that's just my personal taste, you keep doing you my man. I'm digging it.

In order to not break any clips, you use a 3 in wide flat spudger and insert it from the top and it will easily pull most of it off. Then you PULL STRAIGHT TOWARD YOU, not sideways or it will break pins. Note: if installing real carbon fiber mirror caps, note that the caps will be a bit thicker because the carbon is glued to the new plastic mold. So it might be a bit tighter to install but take ur time and make sure you insert the cap where it folds push under the small tab or it will be off and not close properly. Where it folds it might not be flush with the mirror trim and be off by 1 to 2mm sticking out but push inwards and adjust a bit and mirrors will fold & all is good! 👍

Thanks man! I have to stock m-sport bumper. I’m not 100% but I think the m-tech and m-sport are the same. The M5 is definitely different and they also have a f90 M5 too. I haven’t seen the EVO.

I'm not sure if you have to remove it, but I already had the bumper off for painting. I think it's probably easier to install the grill with the bumper off the car, but I would imagine you could still install on the car.

I have been curious if it is possible to switch out the screen in your car with the 2014 model screen? The inside of my car looks like your screen but I just want to know if it’s possible to have it changed to the other one?

Yes, you can switch out your screen, but to switch to a new system you would need additional items then just the screen. I believe you would need the controller, newer combox as well as new headunit. It would be easier and less expensive to just upgrade to a Android unit. I did a Android unit here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYmom3SumK6Fhbc These android units aren't perfect but they really update the car.

Unfortunately, I don't have experience removing the fog lights from the M Sport Bumper. The bumper I purchased didn't have fog lights and my Fog lights from my Standard bumper would not fit the M Sport.

Hi Grant, greetings from the Netherlands! I got the black gloss grill as well but my lower grills have a somewhat different black color (lighter). Does not really look good in certain lights. Are these fog light covers exactly the same color as the original lower grills or are they also more gloss black? Btw. I can definitely recommend the spacers. Thanks for the sub! Yeah, I just got my spacers on as well, love the new stance. As far as the grill covers, they are the same black as the lower grill. I will double check them again, but both my lower grills and fog covers are brand new and I don’t recall seeing any difference in color.

Yeah, the fogs can be definitely nice. I would run this for a while and see what I think. On my old cars I ran fogs all the time with my automatic headlights. Since the BMW, won’t turn the fogs on automatically with the headlights, I always forget to turn them on.

Don’t unplug your fog lights. My fog lights are plugged in and zip tied up behind the bumper.

Yes it was. It was really easy. I just removed my bulbs from the housing. I kept them plugged in and they are tied up behind the bumper. So no error codes or issues.

My fog light bulbs are still installed and I have them zip tied up behind the bumper. If not, you will get an error.

Then you need the LCI mirrors. You will want to send these back.

Looks like one side of the covers is vented/open. What about moist and water getting inside, any possible issues with the cables etc?

No issues with moisture that I have seen. It is vented to allow air to get through to an additional cooler that my car doesn’t have.
