Good tutorial but I doubt it can fix the smell because the smell comes from the evaporator wich is in the center of the HVAC unit. I got it fixed myself by spraying AC cleaning foam in the hose between cabin air filter and HVAC unit, I feel like is not 100% gone but it's much better anyway.

Hi. Thanks for your tutorial. I have done it for my bmw f10 as well. But now my AC blower turns on and off intermittently maybe every 1-2minute. By any chance do u know what is the cause probably? When blower blow it is still cool air?

how are the expenses(maintenance/servicing/repair/fuel economy etc) on the F10 like? understand that conti cars tend to be on the higher side too

So far so good for me. Fuel consumption is about 7km/l. Maintenance and repair wise, I feel if you know some stuff here and there, it's not really that expensive. You planning on which one?

No need unless you have IVM module on top of the blower housing then it's a must to disconnect the battery
