in europe yes in other parts of the world is a 2.5l

In Asia and Africa it was a 2.5. I have the 2.5. In England and Europe, it was 3.0

It's a Europe exclusive, otherwise it's a 2.5L detuned N52

Gasoline I would go for a 528i (but there is the big IF .. if it is well maintained.. N20 isn´t a bad engine, always an eye on the timing chain , valve cover gasket , oil filter gasket .. with bad luck, the injectors could be problematic.. and timing chain for sure. Oil changes should be strictly .. (every 10.000 kilometres Oil change on every BMW engine in the F10/F11 era) .. Otherwise the 535i with N55 engine..in general i would go for a lci ("life cycle impulse " aka facelift model from BMW) .. at least 2015 model.. less problems in general and the N55 engine is generally a reliable engine ( for a Bimmer , really reliable) .. It should have a good service history for sure .. and keep an eye on timing chain, injectors , gasket covers and oil filter cover..water pump and thermostat .. typical BMW issues, but not too much of a big deal. Diesel part = B47 engine as a daily with 190 hp.. good fuel consumption and mediocre power.. with Stage 1 and xHP definitely better consumption and acceleration for a daily.. .. it a facelift model . Otherwise the 530D with the N57 engine with 258 hp.. also facelift engine.. and "healthiest" option, when you want a BMW with the N57 engine.. the 313 hp and 381 hp versions aren´t that good.. and shouldn´t be an option for you.. they are generally a bit more problematic.. typical Diesel issues are Turbo , egr /dpf ( i would remove them for reliability and long time) , with bad luck the injectors and when the signs are all against you.. the high pressure fuel pump, but that´s a rare experience.. i also heard about rod bearing problems , but that´s not a big deal with the 258 HP engine...

Yeah 535 should be anywhere from 5.1-5.7 seconds. Bro must have really let off on it 😹
