A little advice; Get that wrap off the downpipes. Header wrap retains moisture and will rot the pipes. Have them JetHot2000 coated, inside and out. Keeps them from rotting inside from the water in the exhaust, and outside from atmospheric moisture. Plus keeps heat in and gas velocity up. Trust me. I’ve been doing this for just about 25 years, and will never install headers or downpipes that aren’t coated. It’s a pain in the ass job, and I only want to do it once.

I add that tune on my M5 But switch out to DME Tuning more Power. ESS Tune the power comes on pretty early and slopes down towards the top. It's a very good tune even my BMW dealer recommended it But I wanted something else.

Hey Matt , @ 23:29 you show the downpipe difference , the secondary O2 sensor location is much lower on the AMS pipe than the stock location the O2 sensor wiring and plugs cannot be placed back in the stock plug holders because the wiring will be too short , the only way to make it work is rig it tight out the the plug cradles or extend the wires, What did you do ? This was the reason why I didn’t go with AMS and went with Fabworx as they put O2 sensor placement in stock locations

Rout the wires underneath one of the brackets and they fit fine.

Im looking to purchase ams catless downpipes for m5 f10. and have a question about the installation fitment. So did it end up working for the O2 post cat bung that ams provided with the stock O2 wires? Can the wires reach or you need new longer O2 wires?

Not sure about the way the downpipes are wrapped , I've seen better method and results. Honestly this technician is not working at the level to OG spec.

Nick C No they don’t. No tech that knew what they were doing would use wrap. That’s the cheap, ghetto, way out. Those should be ceramic coated.
