thanks for this wonderful video. I feel confident enough to do it now (parts are about $15 now in 2024) but I wanted to ask you, how do you stop the water from creeping between the rubber and windscreen? is there double sided tape or do you need to silicone it to the glass?

Great video, I did the same on my F10, but….. the strip would not stick to the window and now i have gaps where water can run under it, not sure how you got yours so flush?

@@NETTNETTCLUBVIDEOs yes I did, made sure it was all even. Had no problem with that. It’s the side that sticks to the window, mine had double tape to stick it, but it doesn’t sit flush enough to make proper contact

@@gc9103 Dealer doesn't have part number and said $800 to replace rear window (windshield). That's very bad of F10 molding and trim design.

Hi can I know how much you cut off the trim? I notice after I put the new rubber, there's few mm gap n doesn't touch the windscreen
