Great to get some love into the N20 platform. This will hopefully open up alot of possibilities for the 4cylinders. Economic and power on tap 😎

Love what you're doing with this N20 motor. I'm actually on the way to either rebuilt or purchase a new engine for my 320i. Would love to connect with you about this if you're available 🙏

What a great video thank you very much for sharing this, The main problem with the N 20 engine is it block which is made of aluminum and at high heat’s can bend? Or dilate what you think? It’s an open deck

Loved it, my mates 435i only just made that much power with some kind of flash tune, this impressed me to no end!

Well that answered my question. Was hoping to bore and stroke my N20….new subscriber.
@jdmmr24 жыл бұрын
The N20 does not use Alusil as its bore coating. It is a sprayed iron material like all current BMW engines.

The point made here is that the cylinders cannot be serviced like a traditional iron sleeve.

I have the f32 n20 chassis, great car, I’m about to upgrade by choosing a down pipe, but don’t want to go with the usual generic brand, VRSF etc. I have the M Performance exhaust already, nice sounding car. Any recommendations, highly appreciate!

Oh no, not the Max Peeding Chinese rods lol

Brent Spang united kingdom based isn't it
@kenlr86654 жыл бұрын
Brent, had any experience with these particular conrods?
@Spangarangg4 жыл бұрын
Aiden Paparoa I’ve seen these for sale on eBay for other BMW engines shipped from China.
@Spangarangg4 жыл бұрын
Nomadic Tuned No, I don’t have any direct experience. I think the Chinese blank forgings Max Peeding uses are used by several American and European companies who do the finish machining for S54 rods for example. At least that’s been what I’ve gathered while shopping for S54 rods for my engine. If they’re thoroughly measured and checked, I’m sure they will be fine but to pair those nice CP pistons with these cheap rods wouldn’t be the route I’d take.
@Bonkatronicks4 жыл бұрын
Brent Spang it wouldn't really matter would it. like how much quality can you get out of a steel con rod?. im sure they are machined and balanced the same way as stock.. I've just watched a n54 build and he re used the con rods..

Do you guys have an n55 engine I could take off your hands?
