BMW F80 M3 2015 air condition is not blowing cold air

There is hissing sound when I turn on the AC
that sound is something new as the car was pretty quiet with AC functioning right before.
Problem occur as I haven’t been driving the car often
-Update July 2021 - So I got the A/C Pro refrigerant, it come with the air pressure gauge. after recharging it to above 25+ psi, the ac is now functioning with no problem so far for 2 weeks; total driving time for about 2 hours +
Only thing that still concern me is the 25 psi wont go higher when i was charging it, but it was staying there regardless how much more i tried to pump in...

Same issue, i went to different shops and they give different ideas. Last one just filled the cooler fluid and it was resolved.

Glad it works for you as well. After adding the refrigerant my M3 AC still run fine after 2 years so far

I dont have any air coming from my vent but instead i found the air was blowing from where my gear shifter is

There is a leak on your AC Freon, it happened with me..

What exactly you did to resolve this? Facing the same issue where cool air is not blowing and can hear a low whistle sound from the dashboard.

U need Freon don’t u hear the noise coming from the vent ..my bmw did that last week and I add Freon it stop

⁠hi mate. I own a bmw x5 2004. I’ve replaced the condenser , compressor, radiator fan, condenser fan, and expansion valve and still don’t have COLD 🥶 air. The most it gets is “cool”. What am I missing?

mine was just an easy fix by refilling the Freon , you should test the pressure to check if there any leak

hi did you fix it I have same problem with my f80 2015 and still it has its own life, air con sometimes it goes sometimes not. when I drive highway it goes very little cold air after stop it works. Or I start the car it doesnt work after 5 min it works and then again it stop working etc. I changed the same parts but still same behaving.

I have a f87 and mines not blowing air at all whenever I turn it on but I don’t see any leaks at all. Has this happen to anybody?

Just recently happened to me still haven’t found out what’s going on but also haven’t had time to check it out. I have read that sometimes the passenger air filter gets clogged and that makes it not blow I’m going to check it out this weekend

Such rookies lmaooo, a dirty filter definitely won’t stop the airflow completely lol, I’d start looking into your blower motor or ac compressor cause when you’re not blowing any air at all that’s when things get expensive lol. At least if you were blowing hot air it could be as easy as recharging your refrigerant, but since you have no air coming out at all it’s definitely something bigger than that lol good luck tho
