Nice one, been eyeballing these. Can you run the ringline alone or is that light plus ring only

I’ve only seen the ring line alone once, it was today while changing my battery, hasn’t happened since, I think they only turn on when the bike is parked and you switch the key on, but once the bike’s engine is running the low beams automatically turn on. Not sure if it’s a problem with the bike or the headlight, hope this helps and ty for viewing

Yours sounds exactly like my 2011 f800r, did you need install any additions to the wiring harness for led headlight to work properly? Am looking for real world advice so I can convert all the incandescent bulbs on my 2011 bike to led without hyper flash . thank you.

Hello, I also have a 2011 F800R! So this headlight did NOT require any additional wiring harness or wiring for it to work. It was a simple plug and play with the old headlight assembly, which is one big plug. You simply unscrew two Torx screws on the side, slide the old one out, slide the new one, plug it in, and screw it again. If you’re planning on converting the rest of your incandescent bulbs like the turn signals or brake lights, you will be required to wire a capacitor somewhere along the wiring. I wish I knew where but I’m still figuring that out myself. If I ever learn I’d be sure to make a video or lyk how to do it. Happy holidays!
