BMW F8X FLEX FUEL KIT INSTALL! (F80,F82,F83,F87, M2 Comp, M3, M4)

Here I install a Flex Fuel Kit on the M4.THIS IS NOT JUST A SENSOR TO TELL HOW MUCH ETHANOL IS IN THE TANK. This was purchased from Bend Calibration (see description for link) to be used with an Ecutek Tune for TRUE Flex Fuel. The kit was designed for a plug and play setup!
This Kit will (after tuning) allow you to put WHATEVER amount of E85 or pump gas (or blend of the two) in the tank AND adjust the tune immediately in whichever map you’re in and without NEEDING to switching maps.
The Kit includes a:
Zeitronix ECA-2 CAN BUS interface unit
Flex fuel sensor
All AN fittings and lines assembled
A Sensor to ECA wire
A ECA to CAN BUS wire
Second OBD Harness (optional use)
4 Wire taps
Flex Fuel Sensor hold down bracket (contact them to have added to order before shipping ) $20~ or Free(?)

Buck Rogers I recommend the bend calibration kit I used because to my knowledge there is no other kit that interfaces with the canbus on the market right now

Hey nice video. I'm actually about to do this install myself (I actually got the kit that included the ID-F450 filter as well) on my 2018 M2. I wanted to point out, that ECA-2 unit is not waterproof. I believe they recommend installing it in the cab of the car (behind the radio, for example) to protect it. Anyways, thanks for the video, am going to use it as a reference when I do my install (and likely my own video). Cheers

Correct it is not water proof! This was the place my tuner recommended and please do link me to your video when you make it I wanted it in the cabin as well! To combat any potential water hazard I’ve covered the eca2

your dme relay keeps clicking and I have the same thing when connect the sensor to canbus. do you know why is that? I have not figured this out yet.

I’ve been trying to get a comparison on the power feel etc but power is gonna be based on the car/ tuner etc the kit is gonna allow full flex fuel I can put any mix of gas and the tune will adjust ergo TRUE flex fuel. ECUTEK only allows pro tunes so it’s also more tailored to your car and has more features
