I think they should've made a symmetrrical firing with 360deg between power strokes. That's as smooth as a parallel twin can be. You can't have the silly muffler sounds people like without unbalancing the strokes; ie, engine vibration. Bmw is giving into the silly things people want at the expense of good engineering.
