Pegs scrape early hey. I think I decked mine on the first ride.

If the quality of the road is good enough, you can scrape them all day long. Im running on my 3rd set of foot peg sliders. You should try setting your suspension to a higher preload, it raises the bike, and makes the pegs touch the ground later. I'm 65kg, and im currently running on the highest preload setting, this way the pegs dont scrape below 50 degrees of lean angle.

@@0gemi0do you make any changes to the spring settings with max preload ?

With highest preload , you mean 2 up and load?

How is your experience in grip with cornering and lean angle? Does they feel comfortable? I am in doubt if i mount bridgestone S22 ones or the road 5 tires
@0gemi02 жыл бұрын
The S22, and the road 5 are completely different tires, but unless you're a street Rossi, or you're planning on going to track days often, you'd be better off with a Road series tire (I would suggest going for the road 6 instead of the road 5. Both are great tires, but in the wet I felt much more comfortable with the 6 (have a video of a wet ride on the channel if you're interested), and in the dry they're pretty much the same). 52degree lean angle was the most I got out of the road 5s, which should be more than enough unless you're an experienced track rider IMO. The cornering feel and feedback is good, tho it depends a lot on your bike's suspension. The road 5/6 is superior in everything other than outright grip on clean roads, moreover they have a wider operational temperature window, which means in many situations they can actually have better grip than a not up to temp s22. Mileage isn't great tho. I couldn't get 10K km out of my Michelin Road series tires.

Hey, what tire pressure do you use on the streets for this bike?
@0gemi0 Жыл бұрын
2.4/2.7 bar, front/rear cold

@Gemi Thanks, I will try these pressures once the bike is delivered!!

When the footpeg sliders are new, it scrapes at around 47-48. But as they wear down, the angle increases to about 50. At 52 (my max) the gear shifter lever touches the asphalt too. (67KG rider weight, running the suspension in Dynamic, on the "1person" preload preset)

Very interesting.. because i also have 900XR.. lowest preload, 90kg, didnt scrape at 50 degrees.. but it was slow speed corner. Any idea why cant i scrape?
@bolitedando53076 ай бұрын
@@komofpv930150 degree is not always 50degree.... in case that road isnt horizontal you can have 50degree without scraping... my maximum lean was 56L54R without scraping and once i scrap with 45degree
