I aggree. I had a Bluespark on my Abarth 124 Spider with significant gains observed on the dyno test. When I bought my Golf R I opted for the same tuning Box. It does work and I am also happy with the gains on my Golf R now sitting on some 335hp

I’m confused! Here in the states the 330i x drive is 255 hp stock with 295 torque…how is this different with yours?

Mine is a 320d 2.0 diesel rather than a 2.0 petrol. In the UK we have a 320i which is a 2.0 petrol with 185hp and 300-ish Nm torque and a 330i, same 2.0 petrol with 255hp and 400Nm torque.

@@Kimxtee I was asking the same question. I think they can see even if you remove the module before servicing that the motor was functioning beyond its factory configurations/limitations

Remap yes. Tuning box no. Tuning box is a plug and play. Take it off when it goes in to dealership. Leaves no trace on ECU. Remap changes the ECU settings. Remaps can also be removed but not as a DIY

It's all worth it mate also wanted to see how the car performs on a 200mile journey down from Bluespark. It was a 450 mile return trip. I've experienced bluespark in my M140i and in a few other cars prior to my M140i. Has to be bluespark.

That sideskirt on the door. Did you also pay 700 ( L/R) euro for that in England ?And does it protect that to doorbangs ? In netherlands you pay that. Redicules.

No I think it was about £250 from dealers. It's a decal so protection is zero

Hi mate, Does this box come with various settings modes or just plug and play standard? If settings please can you advise which ones did you use or what the differences are? Also, Where and how did you finally clip the tuning box to fix its position? Don't think you got around to showing that :)

Ah....the bluespark on petrol models has a few settings.....but on the pro diesel unit (on this one at least) theres one setting.....plug n play.

@@DownShiftThrottle hmm not sure about that as this is the reply from them about my 320D xdrive. "There are different settings on the tuning box. The fine tune Dip Switch (1-9 numbered dial) acts as a gain control for the box. This is effectively like a volume control: it makes the whole map's increase higher or lower, in the same way that a volume control makes a whole song louder or quieter. The "quiet" bits will still be "quiet", the "loud" bits will still be comparatively "loud", but the whole thing will be raised up or lowered down depending on the setting. The map settings (A-E Red Jumper) are more like changing the song. Each map is fundamentally different and has gains at different points in the rev range. On your 320D they could be described like this: Map A - Mild map mostly biased for fuel economy. The gains are mostly below 3000RPM. Map B - Moderate map biased for a mixture of fuel economy and torque. The gains are mostly below 3500RPM. Map C - All round improvement map with good, smooth improvements in just about everything. Gains are right the way through the rev range with no particular bias for any point. Map D - All round improvement map with more top end. Gains are right the way through the rev range but has strongest gains beyond 3000 RPM. Map E - Similar to map C, but with increased low end performance. Gains are right the way through the rev range. The best way to evaluate them is to test them for yourself, if you find that you like a particular map, it is probably best to tweak the numbered dial to find the setting on that map that works for you."

Yes it does. Top cover needs removing and move the clip over to highest setting number 4 for maximum gain. Obviously that is what I chose. Lol

It won't. It is designed to work in harmony with the DPF. Its not a resistor based smoke box.

That's with perhaps a remap and fiddling around with your car for ages....this is a plug and play for a fraction of the money....also if it is the case of 240bhp and 500nm then really this is close enough....unless you want to chase numbers.
