I got an amazing deal on this bike used back in 2020 - $4500 for a 2019 at 2000 miles with that same windshield and the tusk handguards you have, the BMW higher thicker seat option, bar risers, 1 1/8" tusk handlebars, new grips and adjustable levers, widened foot pegs, crash bars, and new kenda k784 50/50 tires on it. So far I've added some more protection to it, upgraded the springs to accommodate my weight (240lbs), and installed a front sprocket. The sprocket and suspension upgrade has completely transformed it to the point where it honestly feels like a $15000 bike but 100lbs lighter. its rough around the edges, doesn't quite have the polish and quality as those bikes, but handles just as well if not better. the sprocket makes the bike a lot more punchy and quick feeling at the cost of lower top speed which isn't much of an issue for me because I like taking the long curvy routes in the country. With its lower weight and with the upgraded suspension I can take it just about anywhere without worrying about getting stuck. I love this thing so much

I have your bike's twin sister-picked it up last February, with 1100 miles. Have only ridden my 1200GS once since getting the 310, its been so much fun. I'm 68 now, and have been riding GSs since my 90 R100 GD/PD. Love them all, but this little guy is a blast-and so light and easy to handle. I'll keep them both until I'm no longer able to ride...thanks for your video!!

Where are you riding. I live in Oregon and have never seen such straight roads.

Looks like a great little bike! How does the ABS fair of pavement?
@advbrain996711 ай бұрын
It is a fun bike. So in the earlier models they use to have a ABS on/off button buuut they did away with it unfortunately but with that being said it does ok. You won’t be able to lock the rear up around a corner or anything like that. I know that people have just wired an on/off switch for ABS but I haven’t tried it seems easy though

@@advbrain9967 ok, maybe I’ll be looking out for an older model then. But the baby GS is definetily on my list. Thanks for the video and answer! 👍

Howdy! You mention the tires you have on it. What tire is it you have?
@advbrain996711 ай бұрын
Hey! They are stock. Metzler Torrance. They do great on pavement and good on dry dirt but not so good in the wet mud.

Ok, Thanks! That's what I have on my 2022. I'm in New England, but my son lives in Kitsap, so I visit 2 twice a year. I'm buying an RV soon, so I'll be taking my bike out there when I go. It's funny you work 3 -10's with Fridays off like I do... Enjoy the Ride and keep the videos coming. Good stuff for us Baby Beamer riders.@@advbrain9967
