Why is it so so specific? Like what if you don't have trickle charger and you're at the mall parkinglot with a flat battery. Can you ask someone to just give you a jumpstart?

My X1 seems to use too much power just unlocking and locking doors, hatch,, can't find a parasitic drain so this is what I need as I don't want to spend $475 for a new battery/registration. ty for the video, now to find a charger.

Hey did you ever find the parasitic drain? I may have the same issue I have 528i I have replaced both battery and IBS sensor within the past 10 days however hours after driving the water pump is still running and followed by the alarm any help on this I have been getting notification for car being hot as well and recently had coolant pump hoses changed?

Quick question, does your car need to be turned off or turned on in order to charge the battery?

You woudln´t need to charge it, if you can turn the engine on.

​@@spartanking1405if you have a trickle charger, car is off. It plugs in the wall. Your battery prob needs replacement. I had issue from leaving car parked long time. Complained so BMW gave a new battery but made me buy a trickle charger. Now i just crank the engine ever so often if im not driving (like once a week is my goal)
