BMW i3 DIY Accidental Window Roll Down Quick Fix

This video is about accidentally rolling down the windows when the unlock button on the key fob is held down too long (usually by accident, squeezed in pocket or purse). This video shows how to make a plastic inset from an old plastic bottle in less than 5 minutes to stop the problem from happening.
This seems simple, but some owners have reported finding their car in a rainstorm with the windows rolled down!
Note: The black leather pouch was something I made several years back by hand sewing two scrap pieces of leather together- also easy to do. At least easier than dealing with a wet interior...

Thanks for the comment- Maybe a 3D printed clam shell case (like a flip phone) would work & allow easy access(??) I worried about accidentally bending over & pressing key fob in my pocket, unlocking or rolling down windows. Happened more than once! WIth 'Comfort Access' option, blocking the keys seemed like the easiest/simplest solution.

I think it would help shield all the buttons if you cut the plastic piece a bit longer. I made it a shorter so I could still push the panic button (which I coded to be a preconditioning button). For me, the unlock button on the edge of the key fob is the one that gets accidentally pushed often. Thanks for watching!
