Well my bmw was having same error but was a relay under the glove box area i took it to the dealer and charge $700 dollar for labor and finding the problem for a $30 dollar relay

Hi brother, is with fault u cant also charging your battery via charging port?

I don't see why U need to take of both 12v battery cables. If you disco the ground and wrap the ground the batt is offline.

What issue was the car giving you? Was it the drivetrain malfunction, electric drive only?

No issues other than the check engine light and the message displayed at the beginning of the video.

so because they updated the system our cables blew and they won't even deem it a recall....crooks...this is the same thing wrong with my car
